Climate Adaptation Facilitation Training

Train-the-Trainer is a program offered by YCL to train post secondary students in hosting their own workshop on climate action.

At Youth Climate Lab, we know that Canadian youth are the leaders of the climate advocacy movement. From February - March 2025, YCL provided no-cost climate policy trainings to youth across Canada, focussed on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We partnered with 9 post-secondary student groups to host 12 workshops across diverse regions the country, as well as hosted two national, virtual meet-ups as part of SDG Month Canada. You can learn more in the insights report!

Our team is now excited to provide this new iteration of those training opportunity for post-secondary student groups in early 2026. The focus of the workshops will be on Climate Adaptation.
