Loïk
Loïk Raymond (he/they) is a Two-Spirit mixed Innu who grew up in the Uashat area and now lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Ottawa and works as the Outreach & Experiences Coordinator at Le Musée de Saint-Boniface Museum, where he leads community engagement and communications.
Loïk is deeply committed to Indigenous Rights, land sovereignty, and climate justice. They believe in amplifying youth voices and traditional knowledge as essential to building a more just and sustainable future.
In his free time, Loïk enjoys beading, creating art and spending time on the land - ways he reconnects with his culture, community and spirit.

Sofia
Sofia-Anne Ladéroute is Red River Michif born and raised in her culture. She is a traditional Métis jigger, powwow dancer, beadwork artist and activist who has been involved with various movements throughout her life. She believes strongly in Land back and Environmental Justice and hopes to go back to school to pursue a degree in education. Sofia’s excited to share and hear different perspectives on the committee and is excited to see what comes of it.

Kanak
Kanak Kulhari (he/him) is a community organizer and environmental advocate based in Winnipeg on Treaty 1 Territory. He is the Community Engagement Coordinator at the Lake Winnipeg Foundation, where he leads outreach initiatives to build public awareness and collective action on freshwater health. Kanak also works with the West End Resource Centre, advancing food security, housing, and neighborhood greening programs that address climate resilience and social equity together. He has secured significant funding for grassroots initiatives, coordinated tree planting and composting projects, and led campaigns that connect diverse communities to environmental action. Passionate about justice-driven climate solutions, Kanak’s work focuses on centering marginalized voices, building sustainable communities, and protecting Lake Winnipeg for future generations.
