Julie has worked and studied at the nexus of environmental sustainability, business and the non-profit space. She is driven by a vision of shifting systems towards more sustainable, equitable and inclusive values. Julie has experience in research, finance and accounting, as well as in designing programs for youth and community education and engagement. Working as an Impact Investment Analyst at the J.W. McConnell Foundation, Julie oversees a portfolio of investments that target a social and environmental impact as well as a financial return. Her work focuses on broadening the portfolio of impact investments and supporting emergent groups in the social and sustainable finance space. Julie has attended the University of Oxford’s Sustainable Finance Foundation Course and studied a combination of International Management, Accounting, and Environment in a BCom degree at McGill University.
